Born in 1980 in Finland, Antti Kumpulainen joined Multitude in 2016 and was appointed CEO of Multitude Group in January 2025. As CEO, he oversees the company’s day-to-day operations in alignment with the rules and directives of the Board of Directors. 

Prior to his current role, Antti led Multitude Bank p.l.c. as CEO for four years, steering the bank towards growth and operational excellence. His career at Multitude has also included key roles such as Country Manager and Commercial Leader, where he played a significant role in driving the company’s expansion and success.

Before joining Multitude, Antti held senior positions in risk management within the Finnish banking and financial sector, including serving as Chief Risk Officer. His extensive expertise encompasses driving profitable growth, enhancing operational efficiency through digitalisation and automation, and navigating complex European regulatory landscapes.

Antti holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture and Forestry, specialising in Forest Economics, from the University of Helsinki, Finland.

Lea Liigus, born in 1972 in Estonia, is the Chief Legal and Compliance Officer of Multitude. She has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2006. She studied law at the University of Tartu in Estonia and completed the Master of Laws (LL.M) Programme in Contract and Commercial Law at the University of Helsinki in Finland. Before joining Multitude in 2006, she worked as a lecturer for Commercial Law and EU law at the Estonian Business School in Tallinn and as an attorney-at-law specialising in commercial, financial law and EU law at Sorainen Law Offices in Estonia.

Lea Liigus holds, as of 31 December 2023, directly and indirectly 127,396 shares and/or options in the Company. Lea Liigus is not independent of the Company and is independent of the significant shareholders.

Bernd Egger, born 1971 in Austria, joined Multitude in 2019 as CFO. Bernd is a senior executive with more than 20 years of experience in international banking, finance and corporate development, of which 15 years have been spent in leadership functions such as board member and CFO roles in the banking, fintech, e-money and payments industries. As CFO and board member of Paysafecard Group from 2008 through 2015, Bernd substantially contributed to the successful transformation of the business into a leading global online prepaid solution for customers. From 1999 through 2007, Bernd was a member of the executive board of Volksbank International AG (now Sberbank Europe AG), with group-wide responsibilities covering corporate development, M&A and international expansion. Bernd joins Multitude from mPAY24 GmbH, an Austria-based online payment service provider, which he co-owned and successfully transformed into a profitable, automated payment service provider before selling to a private equity fund. Bernd is also an active investor with a focus on early stage Fintech and e-commerce companies. Bernd holds masters degrees in Business Administration from Austrian universities and has a Master of Science in Finance from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver.

Adam Tönning, born in 1991 in Sweden, joined Multitude in 2010 and has worked for the Company in various positions including Finance Manager - West Europe & APAC. He also successfully led the launch of the Group’s first deposit business in Sweden in 2012 and the launch of the lending business in Norway 2015 before being appointed Chief Financial Planning Analyst in February 2016. Adam studied business and economics at Stockholm School of Economics in Sweden.

Born in 1972 in Poland, Adam Jezierski joined Multitude as Group Chief Credit Officer on February 1, 2025. In this role, Adam is responsible for overseeing credit risk management across the group, ensuring robust portfolio performance and strategic alignment with Multitude’s growth objectives. Adam brings nearly 25 years of international experience in credit risk, lending, and financial services. Before joining Multitude, he held senior leadership positions at global financial institutions, including BNP Paribas, Rabobank, and Citibank. Throughout his career, he has managed portfolios exceeding €25 billion across consumer, SME, and wholesale lending, led complex mergers, and implemented advanced credit risk frameworks. He has also driven large-scale automation initiatives, significantly enhancing operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Most recently, Adam served as Head of Credit and Financial Risks at consulting and audit firm PKF Consult, where he advised leading banking and non-banking financial institutions on credit risk strategies and portfolio redesigns. His career is distinguished by a strong focus on data-driven decision-making, ESG compliance, and sustainable growth. Adam holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Banking from the Warsaw School of Economics and has pursued further education in leadership and social psychology. A Polish national based in Warsaw, he is fluent in English and proficient in Russian and French.

As of his start date, Adam does not hold shares or options in the Group.

Shaun Vella, born in 1984 in Malta, joined the Company's Leadership Team in November 2020. Shaun joined Multitude in 2019 as a seasoned HR professional having worked in various senior HR roles with leading hospitality and manufacturing companies such as McDonald’s, Coca Cola and Kempinski. Shaun is the Group’s Chief HR officer and holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and an Executive Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Malta.

Kornel Kabele, born 1976n in Slovakia, is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Multitude. Kornel joined the Company in 2017 as Head of Java Development and since 2018 he was leading group’s Software Engineering & QA. He has over 17 years of experience from the banking industry and extensive experience in software development and project management. Prior to joining Multitude, he worked in First Data Corporation from 2007 to 2017 on various positions - leading Euro conversion program, Project Management Office, Software Development Life Cycle and Business Intelligence for executive management. From 2005 to 2007 he worked in Erste Bank Group member Slovenska Sporitelna as a Project Manager. He co-founded a web-application development company in 2002 and after finishing studies in 2000 he worked in several new media companies in Australia and Slovakia on software development positions. Kornel holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture from Academy of Fine Arts and Design, Slovakia.

Kristjan Kajakas, born in 1981 in Estonia, joined Multitude in 2010 and is the Tribe CEO for Ferratum. Before working in his current position, Kristjan was Regional Director for a number of Eastern European countries of the Company. Prior to Multitude, Kristjan was a Client Executive at AS SEB Pank. He completed his Bachelor´s Degree in Business Administration at Tallinn University of Technology in 2008.

Mantvydas Štareika, born in 1986, joined Multitude in 2022 as Tribe CEO for CapitalBox. He is a seasoned leader and brings with him a wealth of experience having spent the past 16 years in the financial services industry. Most recently, he has been in CEO roles for the last seven years within the insurance and SME lending spheres with Coface and SME Bank. As CEO of SME Bank, Mantvydas was instrumental in establishing the company with a banking license, which is successfully operating in the Baltics and Finland as well as setting it up for further growth in other key locations. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Law and a Master's in Business Administration.

Alain Nydegger, born in 1984 in Switzerland, joined Multitude Group and the Leadership team in April 2024 as a Tribe CEO of the Wholesale Banking. Multitude Group’s newly launched independent business unit, Wholesale Banking, offers services for non-bank lenders, FinTechs, and other larger volume customers. Alain is a seasoned leader having spent the past 17 years in the financial industry. Most recently, Alain served as the Chief Executive Officer at Pala Assets Ltd., where he spearheaded transformative initiatives, resulting in positive returns over multiple years within a global high-yield credit portfolio. His strategic acumen and leadership were instrumental in orchestrating high-volume financial restructurings and fostering collaborations with stakeholders and fellow executives.

Alain holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from HWZ University of Applied Sciences and an Executive MBA from IMD Business School in Switzerland.
