In the world of FinTech, supporting female talent isn't just a nice-to-have; it's a strategic imperative. Think of it like preparing for the Olympics, where every athlete counts, and diverse strategies lead to victory. Achieving success requires the best use of all available resources.
"After 18+ years in Tech, I'm still struck by the gender imbalance. The perception that women are somehow less talented in Tech persists. But here's the thing: technology is about solving customer problems and delivering value. Technical skills are crucial, but so is understanding your users and crafting solutions that resonate. Empathy and active listening are superpowers, and women in Tech excel in these areas," added Julija.
Just as Olympic champions inspire future generations to strive for greatness, successful women in FinTech serve as role models, motivating young girls to pursue careers in technology and finance. Meet Julia Varneckiené, one of our Multitude Olympians:

"I see firsthand the importance of creating a space where everyone has the chance to thrive in the field that fuels their curiosity and excitement, be it tech, medicine, or art. The only limit should be your motivation and effort, not someone else's biased opinion of your capabilities," says Julija.
What advice do you have to younger professionals in tech that see you as a role model?
Follow your path and don't waste your energy on biases. Create a plan, work towards it, embrace continuous learning, find a mentor, focus on solving issues, and generate the result. There is nothing "given", but everything can be achieved. Have fun on your journey.
