Junard Ardiente, Site Manager at Multitude joined the company in January 2019, initially taking on the role of Quality Control. Due to the company's needs, he quickly stepped in as an interim HR and Admin before being promoted to Site Manager. Before his tenure at Multitude, Junard accumulated eight years of experience in the BPO industry, with four years dedicated to data analysis and another four years in management. |
I recently had the opportunity to spend time in Europe with Multitude! The goal was to observe cultural differences, adapt best practices, and share insights about Filipino culture. Here’s a glimpse into my experience.
Discovering New Perspectives
From the moment I landed, I was struck by the punctuality and structure of the European work culture. Meetings started right on the dot—no "Filipino time" here! This emphasis on punctuality and efficiency was a refreshing change and a great lesson in time management.
Sharing Filipino Warmth
In return, I shared the warmth and community spirit of the Philippines, focusing on building strong personal relationships and fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
Embracing Direct Communication
One of the most impactful lessons I learned was the importance of direct communication. Europeans tend to communicate clearly and concisely, which minimizes misunderstandings and streamlines decision-making processes. Adopting this approach has helped me become more effective in conveying ideas and expectations, and I’m excited to bring this practice back to our team in the Philippines.
Big Dreams and Bold Goals
During my time in Europe, I had the opportunity to attend a conference with all our leaders. The group set a huge goal: to make Multitude a unicorn in the next 4.5 years. This ambitious target has inspired me and reinforced the importance of our cultural exchange initiatives. By blending the best of both worlds, we’re setting the stage for groundbreaking innovation and growth.
Reflections and Thanks
This experience has been enriching and enlightening. I’ve gained new perspectives, made wonderful friends, and learned invaluable lessons. Cheers to more adventures and shared successes!
